Kathmandu Heritage Tour

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a short walk around Thamel, the tourist hub of Kathmandu filled with restaurants, handicraft shops, and cultural streets. In the evening, attend a tour briefing and preparation session. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, begin a guided tour of Kathmandu Valley’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu temple located along the Bagmati River, where visitors can witness traditional rituals and spiritual ceremonies. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and an important pilgrimage center for Tibetan Buddhism. Next, explore Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), situated on a hilltop offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. The site is famous for its religious significance and historic architecture. Later, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the ancient royal palace complex featuring temples, courtyards, and traditional Newari craftsmanship. Visitors can explore Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess Kumari. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, drive to Patan Durbar Square, known for its artistic temples, ancient palace courtyards, and traditional metal and stone craftsmanship. Continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a beautifully preserved medieval city famous for its traditional pottery, Nyatapola Temple, and cultural heritage streets. Visitors can observe authentic Newari culture and local craftsmanship. Return to Kathmandu in the evening. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
