Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city. After check-in, you will meet your trekking guide for a short briefing about the trip. The evening is free to explore the bustling streets of Thamel, a popular hub for trekkers. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive or Fly to Pokhara (820m)

After breakfast, you will travel to Pokhara, either by a 25-minute scenic flight or a 6–7 hour drive along the Prithvi Highway with views of rivers, valleys, and mountains. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can relax near Phewa Lake or explore Lakeside. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara

Day 3: Drive to Kande, Trek to Deurali (2,100m)

The trek officially begins today. A one-hour drive takes you to Kande, from where you start trekking uphill through stone steps and forested trails. Passing through Australian Camp and Pothana village, you eventually reach Deurali after about four to five hours of walking. Overnight in Deurali.

Day 4: Trek from Deurali to Low Camp (3,050m)

The trail winds through dense rhododendron and oak forests, with occasional mountain glimpses. The day involves steady ascents, taking about five to six hours to reach Low Camp, a serene resting point surrounded by wilderness. Overnight at a tea house in Low Camp.

Day 5: Trek from Low Camp to High Camp (3,550m)

Leaving the forest behind, you’ll climb steadily up to the ridge. The views open up dramatically with close-up scenes of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. The walk is shorter today, around three to four hours, and you reach High Camp by early afternoon. Overnight in High Camp.

Day 6: Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m), Return to High Camp

This is the highlight of the trek. Starting early, you ascend along a narrow and rocky trail toward Mardi Himal Base Camp. At sunrise, the Himalayan giants of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna I unfold before your eyes. After enjoying this breathtaking panorama, you descend back to High Camp. The round trip takes six to seven hours. Overnight in High Camp.

Day 7: Trek down to Siding Village (1,750m), Drive to Pokhara

The trail descends through rhododendron forests and traditional villages, leading you to Siding, a peaceful Gurung settlement. After around five hours of trekking, you drive back to Pokhara in about two hours. The evening is free to relax. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 8: Return to Kathmandu (1,400m)

After breakfast, you will either drive back to Kathmandu (6–7 hours) or take a short flight. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a farewell evening in the capital or prepare for your onward journey. Overnight in Kathmandu or departure.
